Universal Construction
Our specialty

Storm damage & the insurance paperwork.

We've walked through insurance adjustments from first inspection to final supplement. We know what carriers want to see, and we know what they'll quietly leave on the table. We document, advocate, and translate, so you don't have to.

The process

How we handle a claim.

  1. 01

    Free inspection

We climb the roof, walk the siding, and look at the gutters and soft metals. You get a written assessment with photos, no charge.

  2. 02

    Document the damage

If we find hail or wind damage, we mark it, measure it, and put it on paper. Carriers want documentation; thorough beats persuasive.

  3. 03

    Meet your adjuster

We walk the roof with your adjuster, not just you. Most claim disputes happen because nobody pointed out what was there. We make sure they see what we saw.

  4. 04

    Translate the paperwork

Depreciation, scope, supplements, RCV vs. ACV — we explain what each line means in your specific policy and what to expect next.

  5. 05

    Restore your home

Work begins. We coordinate materials, schedule, and inspections. You'll know what's happening at every stage — no chasing required.

On every claim

What we document.

The difference between a covered claim and a denied one is often a few photos. We've spent years learning what to photograph, what to measure, and how to write it up so it gets approved the first time.

  • Hail impact marks · With size and density measurements
  • Wind damage · Uplifted shingles, missing tabs, creased seals
  • Granule loss · And substrate exposure
  • Soft metals · Flashing, vents, gutters, gutter guards
  • Interior damage · Ceilings, walls, attic insulation
  • Decking & ventilation · Underlayment, ridge vents, intake
Thorough documentation does most of the work. When a claim hits resistance, we don't back down.

Free inspection. No pressure. Real answers.
